Shipping policy
NOTICE: Order processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout.
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
From time to time we may experience potential delays due to a high volume of orders, or third-party shipping service problems that are outside of our control.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Local delivery
Local delivery is available for some special orders. If you would like to request a local delivery please reach out to sales@metalfabricationshop.com to make these special arrangements.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 1601 W Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75061. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared. We will send you an email when your order is ready for pick-up along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 7AM-11AM, & 1PM-4PM on Monday thru Friday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Oversized or Heavy Items
Due to the size, weight, or dimensions of certain products (including modular cabinets and other large or bulky items), shipping is not calculated at checkout and is not included in the listed price. These items ship via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight rather than standard parcel carriers.
After your order is placed, our team will contact you within 24 hours with a personalized LTL freight quote based on your delivery location, address type (residential, commercial, or construction site), and any required services (such as liftgate, limited access, or residential delivery). We will shop multiple carriers to secure the best available combination of rate and delivery time. We’ll be happy to review all options with you so you can select the one that best fits your needs and timeline.
The freight cost will be invoiced separately via email to the address on file, and we will provide a secure credit card payment link for payment. Shipping must be paid in full before the order can be shipped.
If you’d like to know an estimated shipping cost before placing your order, please contact us in advance—we’re happy to provide a quote based on your delivery details.
Please note that the freight cost may include additional fees such as palletizing, crating, or other protective packaging required for safe transit. Optional cargo insurance is also available for an additional fee if you would like added protection for your shipment.

International Shipping
We do not currently offer international shipping at this time, but are working on getting this setup. Please contact us at sales@metalfabricationshop.com if you have any questions or would like to place an order to be shipped outside of the United States of America.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@metalfabricationshop.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We do not ship to P.O. boxes. If you place an order please input a regular physical address the order can be shipped to. If you input a P.O. Box for the shipping there may be delays caused.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. To process a return, please contact us at sales@metalfabricationshop.com with your order number.
Eligible returns will be refunded the full product subtotal minus:
- The original outbound shipping costs (shipping is not refundable in any case)
- A 20% restocking fee on the product subtotal
Shipping costs for returning the item to us are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping Charges – Non-Refundable Shipping fees are never refundable, regardless of the method of payment or handling. This applies whether shipping was calculated and paid through the Shopify checkout or invoiced separately via email with a credit card payment link after the order was placed (e.g., for LTL freight on oversized/heavy items). No exceptions will be made for outbound shipping charges.
Damaged or Defective Items In the event that your order arrives damaged or defective in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@metalfabricationshop.com with your order number and clear photos of the item’s condition and packaging. We address these situations on a case-by-case basis and will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund (without restocking fee in cases of damage or defect caused during shipping).
Custom or Personalized Items Due to their custom nature, made-to-order or personalized products (such as custom-sized duct covers or other made-to-measure items) are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
